Hello to all. Yes, I’ve been away for awhile but with good cause, and that is that we finally have our website organized, up and prepared for business. It was a long 8 weeks of intense concentration, video tutorials and software instruction to get the purchasing software, credit card processing, mail and shipping apps all talking to each other.
It came at some cost though, as that necessitated a halt to the production side of the business. That, in turn, prevented completing the offerings we have in mind for our selection of styles. We have a backlog of parts printed and awaiting investment casting so that we can replace the screenshots of models we had previously promoted. We have seven items available but await seventeen more for the existing catalogs.
The purchasing software brought out the negative (pardon the unintended pun) aspects of the photographs we use, and this is due to the low quality camera available to us at the time. We have a new DSLR camera on order that we expect in the next week, that we’ll use to provide better detailed and close-up photos of our offerings.
Our current host requires a two month lag time before we’re allowed to migrate our website to a different host provider. The new host offers a more generous cloud storage and unlimited traffic, which should serve us better as we look to the future. Please bear with us as we continue to complete the models and castings in our backlog, photo the products and upload them to the catalogs. Please email me if you have any questions or suggestions.
